Revlon Photoready BB Cream

BB Creams have become a hit in South Africa and are taking the world by storm. To tell you the truth, I've become addicted to BB Creams, I always want to try new BB Creams because they make life so much easier. With campus and weekends out, time is never enough for beauty routines which can take up to 20 minutes extra.

Everyone knows about Revlon's amazing Photoready Range which can make you simply fabulous in every picture you take, natural light or flash, and nothing is more important to a girl than looking simply perfect in every picture she takes.

I recently came across the Revlon Photoready BB Cream *super excited* while shopping in Foschini, and as usual my shopaholic side got the better of me and my wallet. The BB Cream comes in the colours : Light, Medium, Dark and Deep. However you must test the BB Creams before purchasing else you can go really wrong! Revlon is known to have Foundations, Powders and Mineral Foundations which don't actually match the colour you might take in another brand. Example : In Garnier and Rimmel BB Cream I'm a Medium, however the Revlon Photoready BB Cream only blended well in Deep. The actual colour of the BB Cream can be seen through a clear rectangle window on the BB Cream tube.

Revlon states that their amazing Photoready BB Cream can:
- HYDRATES like moisturizer
- SMOOTHES like primer
- COVERS like foundation
- BLURS FLAWS like concealer
- PROTECTS with SPF 30 like sunscreen

And here's the best part... Revlon is 100% correct!

I was really excited after testing the product for my colour in Foschini, and I couldn't wait to try it the next day. When I got up the next morning I decided to use it for campus. I use BB Creams mainly on campus days because I love my make up to look natural yet perfect for the entire day so I don't have to touch up.

As I opened the tube I got the pleasant smell of the BB Cream, it wasn't actually fragranced, however it had a nice sunscreen smell, which I liked. I applied some of the BB Cream on the back of my hand and begun to apply it to my face. I noticed that the BB Cream had an amazing smooth feeling, which felt like velvet as soon as it touched my face. The BB Cream blended into my skin and turned into a completely natural yet flawless finish. It also gave me a perfect finish, because it hid all my imperfections and gave my skin an absolutely amazing look like a foundation with a good coverage. I was really impressed. I waited for about 10 minutes until checking back on my BB Cream which was applied to my face (main reason is that the BB Creams need to be dusted with loose powder to give me a matte finish because they make my skin look really oily). I was amazed this BB Cream didn't need anything at all. It lasted for up to 10 hours, without transferring onto any clothing. It didn't need any touch ups or oil control paper. And the best part is your skin will NEVER look grey in another photo again!

PRO's and CONs

PRO's
*Makes skin feel soft and smooth
*Has a velvet finish to skin without a thick look
*Doesn't cake on skin
*Gives skin a flawless finish
*Last for very long
*Makes skin look natural
*Has slight shimmer to hide imperfections
*Non oily - so skin doesn't need to be dusted with loose powder

CON's
*Shades must be tried on before purchasing, else you can go very wrong deciding on the correct shade
* It's a more expensive BB Cream than the other ones around ( retails for R150)
* It's very limited in stock.

I would really recommend this product to anyone who loves BB Creams and looking perfect in photos, because R150 is really worth it for a flawless look which last all day. And the best part of this product is you can never go wrong with a Revlon product, especially this one because its a Photoready product.

Revlon South Africa were so excited about their new Photoready BB Cream and about how amazing and lightweight their product is, they updated a status to their Facebook fans saying "This winter, we’ll leave the layering to our jackets and sweaters. Our new BB Cream hydrates, smoothes, covers, blurs and protects without the layers of multiple products. (Added bonus: it includes SPF 30!)". They were 100% right. Once you try out this product, you will definitely leave the layering for the jackets and sweaters. Why settle for anything less? Try the new Revlon Photoready BB Cream.
