Monday Must Have: Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush - Plum Wine

I haven't gotten over this blush yet, so mind me if I sound like a 10 year old with a new toy! Creme blushes scare me because I have really oily skin, I was really hesitant when I heard about this blush, but I've also read raves apon raves about this product which got me to give it a try.
 

So what is the product? According to Maybelline it " feels lightweight like a powder yet melts into skin like a cream" I really don't think I can explain it any better. The texture of this blush is really one of a kind, it has a soft fluffy kind of feel, and I was tempted quite a few times to press my finger into the blush. 

So I took this blush to India with me, because it was quite compact and the love affair had started. I have become obsessed with this blush, that I am afraid of forgetting it somewhere or running out of the product! I really love how it melts into skin, leaving skin feeling soft and smooth with a light shimmer.

Now you have to admit, finding the right blush is so hard, but once I tried the plum wine, I knew this was the blush for me. It is so simple to use, just lightly swipe your finger over the silky smooth light texture and transfer to cheeks in circular motion, I've even tried applying it with a Blender Baby, and WOW it gives cheeks a beautiful flushed but absolutely natural airbrush look.

 I'd really recommend you give this blush a try, it is easy and compact, but just remember when using the blush, apply it before powder, it sets much better. So ladies... Look forward to falling in love with this amazing soft and fluffy blush!

The best thing about finding a good beauty product is that you can share your findings with everyone else! I'll be honest, I didn't really know about John Frieda before, I didn't even know the brand existed, until Rubybox sent out some samples (of course I didn't receive it) but it influenced me to purchase it since everyone else was raving about how amazing the product actually is. I tend to dye my hair a lot and my last hair dye colour was a rich Iced Coffee shade, which then leaves me with a brunette shade. I love having shimmering hair (that beautiful look you get just after colouring your hair) however the shimmering effect doesn't last very long. As soon as I noticed the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Liquid Shine - Illuminating Shampoo , I knew that it was going home with me tonight. The shampoo is meant for all shades of natural, colour-treated or highlighted brunette hair.

Everything about this shampoo just screams luxurious, classy and salon quality at an affordable price. The shampoo comes in an eye catching squeeze tube, which is a shimmering silver with a gorgeous mirror finish (you'll catch yourself quite a few times just staring at the tube, I promise). The tube comes with a clear sturdy lid which is very strong because I've dropped mine accidentally quite a few times! Plus the tube has a beautiful eye catching design at the top of the tube and also has a gorgeous dark brown writing which stands out on the tube. I find the presentation of the tube to be equally as important as the product because it should look classy if its giving you a classy look, which is exactly what this amazing shampoo does.

I'm crazy about my hair and I always make sure I have good products which will take care of my hair and all the needs my hair has. I was excited to see the results from the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Liquid Shine - Illuminating Shampoo.

However to see the results I wanted to see, I've been using the product for just over three weeks now. I noted down the results to share my experience about how absolutely amazing this shampoo actually is. The only thing I was worried about is that I have quite oily hair and I wash my hair every two days, so I was hoping that with the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Liquid Shine - Illuminating Shampoo I wouldn't have to wash my hair everyday!

My Three Weeks Results

First Wash: My hair smelt amazing, my hair was squeaky clean with two washes, there was no oil build up at all. My hair also felt much silkier than usual, my hair detangled much easier than normal and my hair didn't look so dry like it normally does. Once I dried my hair, you could actually see the shine on my hair and my hair had an amazing scent from the shampoo all day long. - I did not flat iron my hair after the first wash.

Second Wash: After seeing the results from the first wash, I was much more excited to try out the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Liquid Shine - Illuminating Shampoo again! After my second wash my hair had all of the results from the first, plus my hair had a lovely glossy finish. After drying my hair, I straightened my hair using a Glampalm Hair Straightener, I found my hair to look absolutely radiant, glossy and shiny. My hair also had achieved a shimmering look in the light. My hair really looked like I had used a lot of hair serum or hair silicone to achieve the look.

After One Week: I noticed an improvement in my hair, my hair looked more healthy, I had less fly aways, I had more straight looking hair without any straightener needed. My hair didn't need much detangling and I have fine hair which tangles a lot. In my first week I noticed that the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Liquid Shine - Illuminating Shampoo doesn't make your hair oilier if you do have oily hair, but it also doesn't help keep hair looking fresh for more than a day, which is what I get from regular shampoos. In my first week I had noticed in the sunlight my hair looked amazing, I couldn't believe it was my hair.

After Two Weeks: My hair looked the same as before, however I noticed after styling my hair, it looked much more glossy and salon done, rather than home styled. I had curled my hair in the second week, normally I'd use a shine spray on my hair to make my hair look amazing without looking dull, however in the second week there was no need for shine spray, hair silicone or any other type of product you may think you need for radiant hair!

After Three Weeks: I was convinced that I will NEVER change my shampoo, when I look at the results, they are just simply amazing. I wish I had discovered the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Liquid Shine - Illuminating Shampoo earlier so I could have had my hair look this silky and smooth with a beautiful glossy look. My hair caught the light all the time and my hair looked simply amazing in the natural light, sunlight and in photographs with flash. After seeing the results I have in three weeks, I will be sticking to the amazing John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Liquid Shine Range. This is the first shampoo which gives hair such amazing results after the first use.

• The product has a good texture, which means you can use less but still have clean hair.
• The product lathers very well, so there's no wasting.
• The product comes in a squeeze tube, so it's easy to get every drop out of the package.
• The product has a sturdy cap, which doesn't break easily
• The product has a dreamy scent
• The product gives you salon quality results
• The product leaves hair feeling fresh and clean
• The product leaves hair in a good condition
• The product helps hair look much more healthy
• The product makes hair look radiant, glossy and feel silky smooth.
• The product helps hair which tangles easily.

Con's
I couldn't really find anything wrong with the product. I would say the only thing is if your hair is oily, you might not be too happy that it doesn't really help the oily situation.

The Price: It can be debated, but I really wouldn't say the price of the product is actually a Con, because you're getting a salon quality product for R99, which gives your hair a complete shine and smooth texture boost, it's really worth the price you paying. A "just left the salon" look in a bottle.

I would recommend this product to everyone who wants to achieve a glossy, mirror effect hair which looks healthy and radiant. Especially after seeing the results I have seen, I would really recommend

 

this product. Plus the product is really long lasting, even if you're washing your hair three times a week, the shampoo comes in a 250ml tube, so there is more than enough shampoo to make your hair look amazing in a matter of few days. Plus if you dye your hair often, it makes the hair colour look more radiant and has that "just coloured" look which brings out the true colour of your hair. So what are you waiting for? Go out and get your amazing hair which is waiting at a Clicks store near you!

 

 

Catrice Blush Tint

The latest Catrice product which is Blush Tint - for cheeks & lips is definitely a dupe for the cult product - Benetint!

Naturally sheer & sexy on all complexions...it’s innocent yet provocative.Originally created for an exotic dancer in the 1970s, benetint has soared to cult fave status. What does Catrice say about Blush Tint: "Highlights for your cheeks and lips: the Blush Tint with a fresh gel-like texture is easy to apply and blend smoothly with its soft flock applicator. And voilà, your complexion looks naturally radiant! For stronger results, simply apply several layers."

What do I think about the Catrice Blush Tint: While I can't really compare the two by the actual product, because I haven't tried the Benefit Benetint as yet, I can say by the looks of the product, the Catrice Blush Tint is definitely a much more affordable dupe for the product! 

My thoughts on the Catrice Blush Tint: "For a natural look, I really like the Blush Tint, it gives skin a rosy flush and is perfect when you want to rock a natural look, the information says the product is gel, but it is a lot like a "liquidy" gel, which is gel that has a runny consistency. The blush tint has a scent, nothing to pleasant, but it doesn't smell bad either, it is more of a light gel kind of smell. The tint dries quite fast and is definitely layerable to get the colour you desire. When used as a lip tint, I don't know... But I am not into these kind of products, I've tried lip tints before, I somehow mistakenly lick the tint while it is drying and it has an awful taste. So let's just stick to using this as a Cheek Tint!"

 

The Final Verdict: I'd say purchase this product! It is affordable and available at most Dis-Chem stores! The colour is perfect for most skin tones, but shows much better on lighter skin tones, however if you add two layers, you'll definitely see the colour!

My thoughts on the Avon Mega Effect Mascara in Blackest Black

As soon as I ripped open my postal packaging (I couldn't hold my excitement any longer) I noticed a cute small black box. I was surprised that the box was quite simple and with small text adjustments to a simple box, made a big difference. The AVON logo was in shimmering silver. I thought the word "Mega" looked much more eye catching on the box because the text was in Uppercase (all capital letters) plus it had a printed 3D effect, while the word "effect" was in standard text, while the word mascara was in smaller text. 

The mascara base is pure black while the lid is hot pink and the two colours together are just eye catching and perfect. The mascara lid has "Mega Effects Mascara" printed on, exactly like the text printed on the box. As soon as you pull out the lid from the mascara, you will see a brush sticking out of the mascara. So the instructions that are given help you get familiar with the mascara and how to use the mascara to get the best out of your lashes. I will admit that the mascara does look complicated at first, but after the first try, it is much easier to use. 

The mascara brush is known as Avon's "Wonderbrush" and I can finally see why they call this brush the wonderbrush, it sort of looks like a mini paint brush for your lashes. I feel that this brush will definitely get your lashes looking amazing and make your eyes stand out more than usual. The brush provides lashes with 40% more mascara, plus the brush allows perfect application with no more messy globs of mascara and no more tails of mascara. I really love the grips on the mascara brush because it allows more control and makes it easier to use. 

I found the bristles on the mascara brush to be perfectly shaped to allow an amazing application. The texture of the mascara is quite thin but even with one coat you can see a magnificent amount of volume. When I tested out the mascara I felt it took a few seconds to properly dry, so I'd recommend keeping lashes still straight after application to avoid smudging. The best part about the Avon Mega Effects mascara is that it is ophthalmologist tested, so if you have sensitive eyes, it is still perfectly safe because there is no irritation or discomfort. Plus when you're removing your mascara, the Mega Effects Mascara literally melts under eye make up remover.

My Final Verdict

I would really recommend you give the Mega Effects Mascara a try, firstly because it gives lashes the most amazing volume ever, plus the mascara is easy to use. Even though the mascara looks a little scary at first, I promise once you've tried this mascara, you won't look back because this gives lashes everything you ever wanted. It makes eyes look more vibrant and makes lashes look darker. The mascara is long lasting and is sweat proof so it's perfect if you're off in the sun which is great because Summer is around the corner. The mascara is smaller than regular mascaras which makes it much easier to keep in your hand bag or clutch bag if you're off to a party. 

Avon stated that the new Mega Effects Mascara will give you bold lashes with panoramic volume. Eyes look bigger and lashes look darker, denser and more dramatic. Clump-proof, sweat-proof, non-flaking and non-smudging. - I say this is 100% TRUE! This mascara is nothing short of magical. It is really a mascara you should have. What have I got to say: BUBBLES... BUBBLES... BUBBLES and MORE bubbles!!! So I hear the bloggers rave about this product, and now I know why it is so amazing. This comforter bar is magical. On Saturday I wanted to have a relaxing day, relaxing like SUPER RELAXING. I started by crumbling this yummy "berrylicious" bar under the warm water. The bathroom was filled with delicious scent which lasted for hours. 

Few minutes after crumbling the bubble bar, the bathtub was filled with the biggest, fluffiest and softest bubbles I could ever find, and trust me... I am not overreacting. There was seriously so much bubbles... I managed to make a bubble beard (laugh, I laughed at myself when I did it as well, it brought back some childhood memories). Life is always so rushed, I guess this bubble bar made me feel so relaxed, it even brought out the small child in me. 

 

The bubbles are so long lasting, they lasted even after one hour, and let's not forget the purplish water... can the blogger of Purple Sparkle say any more on bathing in purple water? I felt so relaxed after having a bath, that now I feel like having a bubble bath everyday! 

I'd give this product a BIG thumbs up! It gave me the best bubble bath I've ever had, I'd recommend you give this Lush Comforter Bubble Bar a try. It retails at R54.50 per 200g and is very long lasting because you just need to crumble a small piece under hot water and you will have a tub of the softest happiness bubbles.

♥ Monday Must Have ♥ Maybelline Baby Lips :Hydrate

So I went crazy, I mean like psycho crazy when I got my hands on these Baby Lips, mainly because all the bloggers have been raving about them, and honestly after the first try, I truly understood why they rave about this beauty! I chose "hydrate" because it's more of a moisturising Baby Lips and that's exactly what I needed. The packaging is quite simple and eye catching. The packaging says "8 hour moisture", the Baby Lips doesn't actually stay on lips for long, but rather soaks into lips leaving them hydrated, soft and smooth. In just one day... I felt a difference in the condition of my lips. I was pleased to know that Baby Lips comes in SPF 20 which is good for Summer because lips need all the protection they can get. 

The back of the packaging shows results by a self assessment on 105 women, the results are as follows: 

• 76% lips looked conditioned and cared
• 76% healthier looking lips 
• 73% lips felt protected 
• 73% lips felt baby soft

The actual Baby Lips packaging is very colourful and eye catching, which is probably why everyone is obsessed with the product. I find the lip balm just too cute for words, and I probably will get every Baby Lips to collect. The barrel is a baby blue shade with a touch of vibrancy in it, while the lid is clear with the words "baby lips" printed in a retro text in a bright pink shade. The actual balm is white in colour but applies clear. I was very impressed with the balm because it applied smoothly and felt like butter melting onto my lips. The Baby Lips felt like a gloss on lips and have lips a good healthy shine. As soon as I applied the Baby Lips, my lips felt amazing, they had a lovely hydrated feel which is what I'm always looking for in a lip balm. 

The texture of the lip balm is very smooth, and the Baby Lips has a very fair amount of petroleum in it because you can get the scent, but as long as it does an amazing job in keeping lips hydrated...I'M NOT COMPLAINING! The Baby Lips has a very light scent it's a very pleasant smell and I like it because it isn't overwhelming. So I've been using the Baby Lips for just over a week now, and I'm quite impressed with the results. My lips feel absolutely AMAZING!!! My lips are definitely softer, smoother and strangely I find them looking much more plump.

RiRi hearts Mac Collection : Talk that Talk

So firstly I've never actually purchased a Mac lipstick before, I've tried one before, just didn't feel that I liked it back then. As everyone knew a few weeks back, Rihanna launched her RiRi hearts Mac collection, at first I didn't really realise all the fuss about it, until I saw a few bloggers display this beautiful collection.  I was determined to get those lipsticks for the collection, which were unfortunately sold out everywhere else, but of course my darling boyfriend drove me around 90 kilometers just so I could get my hand on these lipsticks! 

You going to think... What is all the fuss about? Well the packaging, the product, plus the entire experience was just too amazing to explain. I won't lie, these lipsticks retail for R215 each, and they were worth every single cent I spent on them. At first when I purchased them, I'd didn't want to use them at all... after I tried it on, I was obsessed.

The lipstick Talk that Talk comes in a beautiful rose gold box with a "R"in a light pink shade, printed with rough text, while RiRi ♥ Mac is in a beautiful cursive writing in a darker pink. The top of the box has

the shade of the lipstick. The actual lipstick casing is so beautiful, I caught a few ladies starring at my lipstick in Gateway. The casing is the regular Mac lipstick shape, while the colour is in a metallic rose gold covering which catches the light at every turn. The casing has the same font as the box. While the inner barrel has a soft matte finish which is smooth to the touch, I really appreciate all the little details, especially the "click" lock, because I really can't afford for this lipstick to mess everything in my bag!

RiRi Talk that Talk is completely out of this world. This lipstick is crazy extreme matte. Which at first gave me a few second thoughts, however as soon as I applied this lipstick to my lips... I fell in love. When applying the lipstick, you'll feel it slightly dry on your lips... But after a few seconds, I promise you'll feel nothing is there at all.  I kept looking at myself in the mirror to see how the lipstick looked on me ( a little obsessed, don't you think?) The lipstick shade may put some people off... But I LOVE IT! When you see the colour on the lipstick you'll think it looks like a very dark brown or almost black, but it's not! The colour is a very deep plum shade which is perfect on all skin tones. As the lipstick fades a little, you'll see different shades of purple and plum which I love. 

The cute touch which really caught my eye was on the lipstick there was an engraving of a heart silhouette and the words "RiRi" in cursive. Being my first Mac purchase, I'm going crazy and loving this lipstick to the MAX!!! I would say it is really worth the money and I would spend the price on a lipstick which makes me this excited! I also enjoyed the experience of a long lasting lipstick in matte, it felt soft and almost not there!  I'd say these lipsticks are quite long lasting to me... I applied the lipstick once and it lasted around four to five hours. I'd say it's an amazing lipstick!

My thoughts on Killer Queen by Katy Perry

Personally, I am crazy about this fragrance, it isn't just the fragrance scent, it is everything about the fragrance. I've seen so many images of the fragrance bottle and box and I'm just love struck. The box is a royal red colour with royal designs as well as royal prints and embossed printing, while the bottle just has me speechless. I am crazy about this jewel shaped bottle and I just love it. The colour of the bottle as well as the diamond cut of the bottle just has me obsessed with this regal theme. The bottle has a pointed tip, which would mean the bottle can't actually stand on its own, I've researched it and I have read that the fragrance even comes with a gold pedestal to place the fragrance, if it is true, imagine how much more royal that will look when a jewel shaped bottle is displayed?

The scent itself is luscious and mesmerising. As soon as you spray the fragrance you get a lovely sweet and fruity scent. I will admit the scent is quite strong at first, but it isn't overwhelming. After a few minutes the scent fades into a dreamy musk and woody scent, but you still know that sweet scent is still there. During the day the scent fades a little, but the base notes of the fragrance linger on the skin. I feel this scent is a little mysterious because certain days I feel the fragrance smells different than other days, I really like that because it keeps me wondering how the fragrance will make me feel.

To me the fragrance feels like a very playful scent which is very girly and sweet. It is the perfect Summer scent because of the fruity top notes. I'd say this is a scent which brings out the rule breaker in you and makes you want to be in charge and rule the throne. The scent is announced to be playful, sophisticated, powerful, edgy and delicious fragrance, it reflects the rebellious spirit of Katy Perry. I would say this fragrance is truly unique and it is evident that a lot of effort went into producing this royal scent. I'd say this scent is definitely going to bring out the QUEEN in you, whether you're a killer queen, beauty queen, dancing queen, drama queen or even queen of hearts...let your inner queen be unleashed.

Katy Perry said "I definitely wanted it to be like a signature scent....I really believe in this perfume and I'm so proud of it, I think it can create a lasting memory with people." I personally feel Katy Perry is absolutely right about her fragrance because this is definitely going to be a scent everyone will go crazy about because it is just too intoxicating for words. So ladies, go on... Get ready to put on your crown and rule the throne because Killer Queen is going to take you over.

 

 

 

Monday Must Have - Revlon Baby Stick : Pink Passion

So I spotted this baby stick on the Revlon International Website a few good months ago, I really couldn't wait for it to come to South Africa and luckily this October, Revlon brought it to South Africa in the Pacific Coast Colour Look by Gucci Westman collection. So everyone who isn't familiar with the Revlon Baby Stick, allow me to introduce it to you because once you purchase it, I promise it will be your best friend! This cute am EXTRA chubby mini tinted balm is small enough to fit anywhere yet effective enough to leave skin with a beautiful flushed look!  

The Baby Stick is a lip and cheek tint, it has a balm texture which is waxy but very moisturising and non sticky. It leaves skin feeling hydrated with a flush of colour. I was a bit disappointed when I read other reviews about this Baby Stick, but unless you try it for yourself... You can't truly judge anything. So this balm doubles as a lip and cheek tint, the compact looks like an extra fat mini lip balm holder. The compact makes it easy to apply to lips, however I still use my finger to apply it because it's quite unhygienic to use the Baby Stick directly from your lips and double it as a cheek tint. 

The whole idea of 2.8 g of a balm tint for R99 might be a slight put off for you, but I promise it is worth it. The Pink Passion is one of three shades and happens to be the most vibrant and the only colour to stand out so much. The Baby Stick colour is buildable so if you feel the colour is too light, you can always double up! So I find this my best product for the month because it gives a lovely "flushed" tint which looks very natural on lips and on cheeks.  I find the Baby Stick to be very blendable and quite easy to use. 

Revlon Baby Sticks are available in the following colours:

• Pink Passion - Vibrant Pink 
• Sunset - A coral / red colour 

I would recommend you give these Baby Sticks a try because they are unique and absolutely amazing, they are super retro and how can you not pull one of these out in public and have people staring like crazy? I would recommend you test each colour first in store because the colour is not exactly like the colour on the Baby Stick compact.

 

Wednesday's Weekly Manicure HD Glowing Nail Polish : Lilac

So at first when I entered the local store I didn't really believe that these nail polishes were glow in the dark, but because the colour was a cute purple colour and the polish was only R35, I purchased it immediately. The polish is called HD Glowing Nail Polish.

The polish sounded so exciting, as soon as I painted my nails, I allowed drying time and then kept cupping my fingers over the polish to see if it's glow in the dark, but of course there was nothing. I feel embarrassed to say this, but my mother caught me holding my fingers near her lampshade because I thought the nail polish could "charge".

And just to kill the suspense, when I was going to bed and I sleep in the DARK, I saw a light glow on my nails, I switched on the light and "charged" my nails for a few seconds and guess what ladies? GLOWING NAIL POLISH! I was super excited, I really can't explain.

I find this polish so absolutely amazing, because it's glow in the dark and it's been lasting on my nails for over three days with no chips *miracle*. The polish colour is quite sheer, but it's buildable, I noticed the more you layer the polish, the more glow in the dark it becomes.

 

 

Nicki Minaj Pink Friday Fragrance

Everything about this perfume, including the box... Is related to Nicki Minaj. The box is a beautiful pink and purple gradient box which has Nicki Minaj's silhouette in a gold embossed print on the box. The border of the box is a gold chain, which reminds me of Nicki Minaj's gold bling which is always around her neck. The box's colours (pink and purple) are completely Nicki Minaj's colours which she's always wearing, while the gold resembles all the bling. 

The perfume bottle is a bust of the pop star herself. It freaks me out a bit as well, but the fragrance is absolutely divine. The bottle cap is Nicki Minaj's face which is in shimmering gold, while the hair on the bust is of course...Pink with the signature fringe. The remainder of the bottle has the body of the pop star, which is clear and then has a boob tube top in a different frosted glass. What makes the bottle of this fragrance unique is that it has a name chain in gold which is attached to the bottle, the name says "Nicki Minaj" which is similar to the one she wears.
 

I was absolutely lucky enough to receive this perfume from my boyfriend as a present, of course my boyfriend knows how to spoil me. I'm not really a Nicki Minaj fan, but the scent is so amazingly dreamy and fruity, I couldn't say no! I received the 50ml bottle, which is a little different from the original bottle I spoke about on the top, however it's mainly the fragrance which I love and not the bottle. The fragrance is perfect for summer because its more of a summer or spring fragrance. 

The fragrance which is in collaboration with the Elizabeth Arden company has a lovely refreshing scent, the scent is an intoxicating floral, it's a musky one which is mixed with fruity notes, pink flower petals, creamy vanilla, musk and wood.  The fragrance opens with notes such as star fruit, Italian mandarin, and a blackberry and raspberry hybrid called boysenberry. In the heart of the fragrance are lotus and starry jasmine petals while the base notes have caramelized pear, vanilla, musk and woody notes.  

I would really recommend you get this fragrance! It's a lovely scent which you can get addicted too... The fragrance comes in a 50ml bottle which retails at R395 while the bigger bottle is a 75ml bottle which retails at R495. Whether you're a Nicki Minaj fan or not, you must try this perfume. It's fun, fruity and pink... what more could a girl ask for? Plus the scent isn't overwhelming but lingers on skin all day long.

Yardley Loose Bronzing Powder

I purchased this AMAZING bronzing powder recently, the bronzing powder is part of the Yardley Wild Summer limited edition range. As soon as I entered Clicks, the Yardley stand caught my attention, everything in this range is bold and absolutely eye catching. I chose the Loose Bronzing Powder because I can never have enough of bronzers. 

The bronzer comes in a clear bottom compact which allows you to see the golden shimmering product, while the lid is a bright hot pink lid with a shimmering blue leopard print which is super cute. The bronzer comes in the shade Bronze Delight. I was pleased to know the bronzer comes with a powder puff, the powder puff has a  velvet smooth feel which is perfect for sensitive skin so there is no hurting or irritating skin. 

The bronzer has a sieve which contains 20 spaces for the product to come out, the sieve is quite big for enough product to come out, however this doesn't make the product good for travelling because extra of the product will fall out if the product is tossed and turned in your bag, so that is the only downfall of the product. 

The actual product is amazing, it's the perfect shade of bronze with an amazing shimmering gold tone which leaves skin looking sculptured and contoured as well as high lighting facial features. I've been using the product for just over a few days and I'm absolutely loving this bronzer. I use it with my angled brush because I find it easier to apply my bronzer.  

 

 

I would really recommend everyone gives this bronzer a try, it's fine and lightweight on my skin. The shimmer really gives your skin a glow which I'm crazy about, it also makes this bronzer perfect for a day time or night time look. Just a friendly reminder, after purchasing the product, when you are removing the safety sticker on the sieve, BE CAREFUL!  It can spill everywhere. This bronzer retails at around R79. 

 

 

 

Catrice Mattifying Oil Control Paper

I was absolutely lucky enough to get one of these from the lovely ladies at Catrice. I think this is one of the most convenient products I've ever come across and they also help keep our skin looking amazing for longer. These mattifying oil control papers are always in my handbag so I always have that perfect matte complexion.

These mattifying paper come in a cute purple compact which is made out of hard plastic so it's much more sturdy than any other mattifying paper compact I've seen. The inside of the compact also holds the mattifying paper with sections so you can only pull out on sheet of paper per a time. I find this convenient because if you're rushing, you still don't waste. 

The actual mattifying sheet may look quite small, but the mattifying sheets are actually folded, therefore it's double the size of the compact, you'll never notice until you try one out. Therefore it's big enough to make all areas on your face shine free. Within seconds this amazing mattifying oil control tissues absorb all the oil for a shine free and matte finish which lasts long. The mattifying paper doesn't leave skin dry or irritated. 

I find this mattifying paper perfect for setting make up, removing oil or just making sure you have a matte look after applying moisturiser. This compact is perfect to stay in your handbag because it's small and discreet, it's also slim enough to fit in your pocket.

I would really recommend you give these Mattifying Oil Control Tissues a try, they have 50 sheets per compact and have a very reasonable price. I absolutely love these oil control sheets, and I promise I'm not just saying that because the compact is a royal purple shade!
